Akin to the arthropod of the same name, the Dragonfly packs a lot of firepower into a pack of minimal weight. Considered to be the favourite pack of the Blue Ice Athlete team, the latest edition takes everything that was great about the predecessor and updates it for the modern era.

Light, comfortable and modestly sized for day-long escapades and those final few meters for summit pushes. Claimed by Blue Ice to be their best-selling pack, the Dragonfly is renowned for its minimal weight and size for the essentials.

The main drawcord loop provides fast access to the main body of the bag, while a fabric screen hood removes any risk of debris entering the Dragonfly bag. The hood has since been tweaked slighter to better accommodate helmets and rope. For the attachment of alpine equipment, the bag features two ice axe holders, a rope holder, and is compatible with Blue Ice’s own helmet holder (sold separately).

A removable chest strap and waist belt allow the pack to be stripped down to the bare minimum for those weight-conscious climbers. The pack is also stuffable into its own front pocket, making it the perfect summit bag.

The latest edition of Dragon is constructed from a beefed up 210d High Tenacity Nylon ripstop main fabric, this is a bag built for the mountains, durable and dependable.
