The Kume 38 litre backpack from Blue Ice gives you a versatile ski touring and climbing pack with plenty of extras. The robust construction makes it a great day-pack with enough room and external attachments for ski mountaineering equipment and backcountry essentials.

The Ripstop Robic Nylon 210D throughout the body reduces weight while providing a durable abrasion-resistant base. The back panel conforms to the shape of your back for a snug fit and features a removable wireframe for added comfort when carrying loads. The padded hip-belt and load stabiliser straps centre and direct the weight onto your hips rather than the spine to reduce strain and maximise comfort and carrying efficiency.

The rucksack's main compartment allows plenty of room to load gear from the top or from the side. Inside you will find a hydration reservoir pocket and drinking tube port. An internal compartment holds snow safety gear with 2 loops to secure a snow probe and shovel handle.

Trekking poles and ice climbing tools can be stowed on external carry toggles while skis of all sizes can be attached to the sides of the bag or in an A-frame. 2 zip pockets on the hip-belt keep smaller items close to hand while larger items like your helmet can be carried on the front of the pack. The Kume has a dedicated rope and crampons compartment that can be accessed quickly when you need it most.
