The Burton Cartel X Re: Flex snowboard bindings are a lighter, more versatile, and even more responsive version of the Cartel.
The Cartel X Re: Flex uses Burton's Single Component Re: Flex baseplate made from 45% short glass/nylon composite which gives a very similar performance level to a carbon composite baseplate but without breaking your wallet in the process.
The highback Heel Hammock features reinforced rubbery material that wraps the boot heel, providing complete suspension for lightening fast response, DialFLAD system features a rotating dial for making adjustments to the forward lean angle of the hi-back, Living Hinge hi-back technology eliminates hardware and weight, allowing for independent adjustment of your forward lean and hi-back rotation.
The Cartel X uses Burton's Hammockstrap 2.0 ankle strap and Supergrip 2.0 toe strap, featuring a stitchless design that prevents pinch points and allows Burton to pre-shape the strap to match the contours of a boot. The Nylon spine built into it retains board response by giving a more direct connection.
Smooth Glide buckles are easy to secure and feature aluminum levers and a steel base for strength with a polycarbonate barrel for improved ratchet tongue life
FullBED cushioning system uses a B3 Gel cushioning material in the footbed which settles your boot into a natural position when riding, minimizing fatigue regardless of your stance, and can withstand the coldest of conditions, impact after impact.
The Cartel X really is Burton's go-to performance all-around binding that's perfect all over the mountain. This is the Re: Flex version which is designed to ride on snowboards that feature 4 holes or The Channel/ICS mounting system.
