This revolutionary step for this board has helped to influence the directional, surfy shapes that Burton has continued to explore for decades. In this case, the Fish 3d is the catch of the day because it looks and feels incredible to ride.
This premium snowboard is packed with an abundance of impressive tech. The Fish 3d comes fully loaded with a Super Fly II 700g Core with Dualzone EGD and Squeezebox. What this means is that you’ll get a lightweight, durable, pop-filled board with a consistent edge hold. It’s extremely stable, enabling you to manipulate the board underneath your feet through powder with incredible ease. Offering carbon strips to provide a stronger longitudinal pop, it provides medium flex which is ideal for deep powder riding.
Most of all, it’s new and incredibly evolutionary 3d shape will really help provide great stability. Its directional Flat Top and double swallowtail will really help float which is extremely important during the deep powder days we know and love. It will get you surfing on the mountain with control and speed from the top to the bottom.
The base graphics show that the Fish 3d is a true predator on the snow and you will feel all-powerful as you shred through the mountain. This board is for intermediate to advanced riders that want to push the freeride boundaries to the maximum. - Super Fly II 700G Core - Stronger and lighter woods target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength and reduced weight.
- Dualzone EGD - The wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength.
- Pro-Tip - A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.
- Infinite Ride - Maximises pop and strength while maintaining flex and pop.
- 45° Carbon Highlights - Optimizes each layer of the fiberglass matrix and adds a full tip-to-tail carbon layer to reduce weight and fine-tune torsional feel.
- Double Swallow Tail - Not just keeping the nose afloat, the swallow tail shape keeps punching the tail through a turn allowing you to easily maintain speed.
- The Channel - Rather than using a 4x4 system, Burton have introduced the Channel. A system which allows you to fully adjust your stance width and angles. Your bindings will have to be compatible with the Channel and conversion discs can be bought separately. Burton offer a 3 year warranty on all boards with the Channel.
