About the Burton Hideaway
Back again, the Burton Hideaway women's snowboard has been designed so that you can put a creative spin on all terrain riding with a board that charges ahead and inspires confidence.
The Flat Top profile see's a perfectly flat section for the running length of the board, with a few millimeters of early rise rocker in the tip and tail. This shape is the perfect blend of the stability and precision camber offers, as well as the catch-free and playful personality of rocker. With no camber to press out of the board, turning takes very little energy to initiate. Flat boards perform well in all conditions, from powder conditions to hard-packed and groomers. It is great board shape for any rider.
The Hideaway women's snowboard also gets SqueezeBox technology core profiling, which has thicker core sections for more power with thinner sections underfoot for a softer, more natural flex.
The women's Hideaway uses Burton's Super Fly II 800G core with Dualzone EGD which creates a floaty and torsionally responsive board which then has Triax Fibreglass to keep it playful and snappy. Pro-Tip keeps the swing weight down making turns smoother and spins easier.
The Women's Hideaway has been fitted with Burton's Channel system to keep you locked to the board. The Channel offers the complete freedom for you to set up your angles and stance width and it can be used with 100% of the bindings from all major brands so if you aren't a lover of Burton bindings then you will still be able to ride this board.

- Squeezebox Core Profiling - A wavy core which is thicker at the beginning and end of the channel which are the areas that take all the pressure when loading up on an ollie. The thickness adds more snap which will lead to a more responsive pop
- Dualzone EGD - Wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges in two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength
- Biax Fibreglass - Versatile flex and response throughout the board
- Super Sap Epoxy - A bio based resin that reduces the carbon footprint by 50% compared to conventional epoxies
- Filet-O-Flex - Ultra thin core profiling creates a softer board that keeps its stability, durability, pop and grip with the added benefit of padding underfoot for a more comfortable ride
- The Channel - Rather than using a 4x4 system, Burton have introduced the Channel system which allows you to fully adjust your stance width and angles. Your bindings will have to be compatible with the Channel and conversion discs can be bought separately for most bindings. Burton offer a 3 year warranty on all boards with the Channel
