About the Burton Kendo
The Kendo is packed full of tried and tested tech that makes Burton snowboard boots some of the very best out there.
The Kendo is built for riders who prefer a traditional lacing system, but demand better performance and versatility from their boots than Burton's other, more freestyle-orientated trad-lace models. Its medium flex makes it suitable for riding all over the mountain, and it features the same high-end tech as Burton's top-of-the-range boots.
Burton's EST® Optimized Midsole gives the Kendo a high-performance fit from the ground up. These low-profile, lightweight soles reduce bulk and naturally lower your centre of gravity, to provide a more direct board connection through the bindings. Autocant Cushioning is made from super comfortable, dual-density EVA and gives a subtle, angled cant across the footbed. It allows the foot to settle into a more natural position and improves comfort. All this enhances the board's feel, giving improved power transfer through the boot and binding and making for smoother, more direct board control.
Burton's Imprint™ 3 Liner is one of the very best on the market. It uses a Level 2 Molded EVA Footbed to optimise arch support and stability, giving excellent response through the boot and improved shock absorption. The Focus Cuff Heel Hold System with internal hook and loop J-Bar keeps them locked sown into the boot, eliminating heel lift and improving response. It also includes a dual-density EVA foam footbed with cushioning and support for even greater comfort. Add to all this the fact that it's fully heat moldable and you get a boot that runs from season start to season finish without breaking down.
