The men's Burton Photon BOA® Snowboard Boots let you dial in a precision fit for a responsive feel that encourages you to push your riding. The Step On photon boot features a medium all-mountain flex, relaxed enough to allow you to tweak and get away with the odd mistake, but still highly supportive and responsive.
The Photon StepOn boot features a Dual-Zone BOA® Fit System with Coiler™ and Lockdown technology, which features two distinct lace zones including heel-specific tensioning that can be independently adjusted, with the twist of a dial, for a custom fit in the upper and lower portions of the boot.
The Imprint 3 Liner has a DRYRIDE Heat Cycle lining which regulates the climate inside the boot, wicking moisture away but reflecting your body heat to keep your feet warm when it's cold. This effect is augmented by Sleeping Bag technology in the DynoBITE EST outsole which also reflects all heat towards the foot, ensuring your feet are the warmest on the mountain.
The Photon features a Vibram® Traction Lug outsole with EcoStep™ rubber that provides increased surface area for more contact points that grip the ground in a lighter weight package that uses 30% recycled rubber content, EST® optimized midsole lowers your center of gravity and improves board feels without sacrificing comfort. Shrinkage footbed reduction technology reduces the boot's overall footprint which minimizes toe drag.
The Photon boa boot has a built-in ankle strap to enhance the fit & performance, ensuring your heel stays locked in place. This combines perfectly with the StepOn binding chassis which is based on the award-winning Burton Cartel, allowing you to just step into the binding heel first to clip in, and then the quick-release lever allows for an instant exit.
