The Switch Ice Axe combines DMM's ergonomic design with high-quality engineering for an exceptionally strong, dependable climbing aid crafted to tackle technical ascents across a variety of terrain.

The Switch features an aggressively curved shaft for maximum clearance in tight spots. The bombproof design delivers a T-rated shaft and pick, alongside a full-strength handle and double riveted construction. The ergonomic handle is CNC'd (i.e. mechanically manufactured for precision construction) from a solid block of aluminium for improved handling and stability when hooking through thin terrain. Upper and lower rests allow you to make use of the full range of modern mixed climbing techniques.

DMM's practical design means the heads can be switched/replaced to give an already versatile tool an even greater range of applications. Optional pick weights provide that extra heft to penetrate hard ice and customise balance.
