Dakine's 24L Heli Pro is a highly functional women's snowboard/ski backpack to aid you on the mountain. The vertical snowboard and diagonal/A-frame ski carry systems allow you to carry your snowboard/skis with ease whilst traversing a ridge, or keeping your hands free at apres.
The Heli Pro comes with a fleece lined goggle pocket to keep those precious lenses protected in transit and whenever the goggles aren't in use. There is a handy pocket for carrying a snow shovel and snow tools, the additional external quick stash pockets provides extra space for your accessories and the loops on the front of the backpack attaches to your helmet.
The Heli Pro features a padded back panel and belt to provide comfort and support distributing weight off your shoulders and onto your hips reducing the likely hood of back strain. The backpack is also compatible with the Dakine Impact Spine protector, which displaces hard impact and protects your central back.
Overall the 24L Dakine Heli Pro women's backpack is the perfect option for snowboarders/skiers looking for a comfortable and compact backpack to tackle the mountain for easy transportation of their gear.
Women's specific fit
Vertical snowboard carry and horizontal snowboard carry option
I bought this bag for use as a day to day bag, but also for skiing. I've never used a bag skiing before, but have recently felt the need for one, for various reasons. I love it's features for carrying ski/snowboard. As a skier I used the ski function. It was great. Made walking uphill with skis so much easier than carrying them over the shoulder. I also used a hydration pack whilst away, which this bag caters for perfectly. It's comfortable to wear and stylish too. 18L is a nice size to ski with and you can fit what you need for the day quite easily.
A technical rucksack that's also stylish
I was looking for a practical and technical rucksack that I could also use as my 'handbag' for around town. This bag has since been used for skiing, hiking, and cycling. It's been snowed on, rained on, sometimes shoved into panniers and still looks great for going into town shopping.
