The Demon Flex Force D3O X2 body armour offers high-end upper body protection by using the revolutionary D3O tech. Perfect for snowboarders and skiers due to D3O's lightweight, flexible properties.

D3O is a patented smart material known for its use in protective gear and impact-resistant products. The material is soft and flexible at rest, but upon impact, it instantly hardens due to non-Newtonian polymers within a dilatant fluid. This unique property allows D3O to provide effective impact protection without sacrificing comfort or flexibility. Widely applied in sports, industrial, electronics, and military contexts, D3O is utilized in helmets, knee pads, gloves, and other gear, offering a combination of comfort and enhanced impact resistance by dynamically adapting its stiffness in response to sudden forces.

The custom-shaped D3O pads are placed on the shoulders and elbows, while the back uses D3O's Viper back protector. The Viper back protector has an ergonomic design for maximum coverage along the back with Airwave Technology for improved airflow for added flexibility and breathability.

The body armour also features SAS-Tec padding on the ribcage and wrist. The ribcage uses a honeycomb construction for added flexibility to form around your body shape. SAS-Tec is quite similar to D3O but is made from a foam material instead with outstanding shock absorption values, passing the protectors of EN 1621-1. This means it can also harden upon impact.

The top is constructed primarily from a lightweight, breathable, athletic blend of lycra and mesh. It features a fully ventilated underarm and side to keep your body cool and comfortable. There is also support for fitting a neck brace to the body armour.
