The Demon Hyper XD3O body vest armour offers fantastic protection of the back, sides and kidneys with additional D3O shoulder padding. Perfect for snowboarders and skiers due to D3O's lightweight, flexible properties.
D3O is a soft flexible material that will shape to your body comfortably. The big change happens when it takes an impact, all the polymers lock together protecting you against the impact. This means that the harder the impact, the greater the resistance to the force.
The vest uses a sandwich dual density memory foam construction with puncture resistant thermo plastic in between for chest and spine protection. This will provide flexibility for easier movement with the combination of hard shell protection. This is needed for backcountry riding, preventing tree branches from piercing the skin when darting through tree lines.
The top is constructed primarily from a lightweight, breathable, athletic blend of lycra and mesh. With additional venting holes and air intakes, the vest provides excellent breathability so it can be worn all day in any condition. The Hyper vest can also support a neck brace to the body armour by removing the two shoulder blade padding.
On the side there are cinch straps around the ribs to suit the fit you need when riding and the added bicep/tricep pads are removable.
The Demon Hyper XD3O vest body armour is extremely versatile and can be used both in the winter or for summer, such as mountain biking.
