The Demon Xconnect D30 body armour offers fantastic protection for the back, shoulders, elbows/forearms and ribs. Perfect for skiers and snowboarders alike due to the lightweight and flexible nature of the D30 material used.

D3O technology is a patented smart material known for its use in protective gear and impact-resistant products. The material is soft and flexible at rest, but upon impact, it instantly hardens due to non-Newtonian polymers within a dilatant fluid. This unique property allows D3O to provide effective impact protection without sacrificing comfort or flexibility. Widely applied in sports, industrial, electronics, and military contexts, D3O is utilised in helmets, knee pads, gloves, and other gear, offering a combination of comfort and enhanced impact resistance by dynamically adapting its stiffness in response to sudden forces.

The vest uses Demon’s BP3 L1 back protector, which has a longer tail than traditional back protectors, in order to improve coverage. It features an ergonomic design for improved comfort and protection. The body armour also features SAS-Tec ribcage padding. The ribcage uses a honeycomb construction for added flexibility to form around your body shape. SAS-Tec is quite similar to D3O but is made from a foam material instead. The foam also has the ability to harden upon impact to absorb the force.

In the elbow/forearm and shoulder area Demon uses D30’s T5 Evo X which offers strong durability in a lightweight and low-profile material, it has been tested and approved for wet, cold and ambient conditions.

The top is formed of a mixture of lycra and mesh that is lightweight whilst also giving ventilation on the side and in the underarm area, resulting in a snug fit to the body for optimum protection. The top stays firmly in place with an adjustable and removable waist belt, with attachments for collarbone and chest protection allowing for increased protection.

The Demon Xconnect’s biggest feature is that it's fully compatible with the Xconnect D30 matching shorts, to give you full neck to coccyx protection. The Xconnect D30 Top is lightweight and low profile and can easily be worn underneath your ski/snowboard clothing, as well as mountain biking clothing.
