About the Deuter Freerider Pro 32+ SL

Part of their Slim Line, the Freerider Pro 32+ is a stouter variant of the legendary winter sports backpack, accommodating those with a smaller back length and allowing a better fit and consequently greater comfort.

Deuter's Alpine Back System means you can find the most comfortable carry position over challenging terrain. The pack's shaped shoulder straps are complemented by load adjustment straps and the flexible Delrin® U-frame to give you stability and effective load transfer by keeping the pack close to the body's centre of gravity. This removes strain from your upper back allowing you to hike, climb and descend without upper body restrictions. A wide rear opening allows quick and easy access to the contents of your pack without having to unstrap anything you're carrying on the outside of your bag.

Designed for winter activities, the pack has a range of snowsport specific features. The Freerider Pro is capable of ski, snowboard and snowshoe carry through use of webbing loops and buckles. It features a snow shovel specific pocket for ease of storage in addition to probe, pole and ice axe attachment loops that are height adjustable. Attachment webbing and loops can be stowed in garages for a cleaner profile reducing the risk of snagging on flora when descending. For practicality, zippered pockets on hip fins allow for the secure storage and access of smaller items. An inner zipped mesh pocket is made especially for wet equipment, allowing you to store wet clothing without getting the rest of your gear wet.

The Pro 32+ is made from Deuter 400D PA Ripstop to provide an incredibly tough, hard-wearing yet lightweight fabric, meaning the Freerider can stand up to the worst mountain conditions. With a streamlined profile that reduces excess bulk for smooth transitions from lifts to slope, as well as storage and transport capabilities, the Freerider is the only pack you need to beat the mountain.
