The Speed Light 24 SL has a tapered athletic V shape, this offers freedom of movement that won't get in the way during active outdoor activities. The tensioned Delrin U-Frame provides exceptional flexibility with good load transfer without increasing overall weight. Despite being exceptionally lightweight the AirMesh backing ensures you remain well ventilated and comfortable.

Deuter's Slim line or Short Length packs are designed in collaboration with the female ambassadors to offer an improved tailored fit for the athletic female figure. The SL range also suits slender men and youth who have shorter torsos and slender frames.

The SL line straps provide enhanced fitting around the upper body, where shorter and narrower shoulder straps accommodate the shorter physique. Moreover, the SL line straps feature tapered ends combined with smaller buckles that reduce pressure points that lead to chafing. Straps also have a contoured “S” shape; a rounded construction that conforms around sensitive areas and hand hugs the pack to the user.

The tapered shape of the hip belt combined with anchor points that slant upwards reducing the excess space between the user and the backpack for a closer compact fit. The load adjustment shoulder strap tech and Pull Forward belt construction allows the user to cinch the load forward for weight to be distributed parallel to the spinal cord for vertical load bearing comfort. This ensures the pack has an anatomically stable fit, paramount for all day comfort.

The pack is ideal for a range of disciplines, this version has a top lid with a zippered pocket to store smaller items and the lid has ring attachments for clipping extra gear. With a logo reflector and a clip loop on the back for a bike light, the pack ensures you’ll be seen well into the night. Reinforced zips allow pockets to be accessible even with gloved hands, shoulder straps are streamlined to reduce wind drag and also features an attachment loop for glasses.

Stretch side and front pockets provide easy access for small water bottles, maps or your smartphone, the stretch inner wet storage compartment is ideal for damp clothing and the pack features handy trekking pole and ice axe loops to keep them secure when not in use. The pack is compatible with hydration systems up to 3 litres so you can keep yourself hydrated during your hikes, climbs and bike rides.
