About the Dynastar M-Tour 87 CA

Joining the M-Line range for the 2021 season is the M-Tour range, as the name suggests these touring skis are developed to be lightweight for uphill efficiency but still able to offer an energetic and stable experience when descending back down. The narrower of the two skis in the range is the M-Tour 87 CA.

With 87mm underfoot this ski can easily provide adequate float in deep snow, and with the directional rocker of a long high tip and lower shorter tail, this ski offers a great ratio of float on powder days and grip on hard-packed surfaces. But to aid uphill ascents this ski is extremely light only weight in at 2.5kg (at 179cm). This is achieved by a unique blend of materials, the hybrid core blends paulownia wood which is 15 to 20% lighter than poplar with a polyurethane composition which again is extremely light and adds excellent shock absorbing qualities to ensure a smooth ride on descents. To add reinforcement to the ski instead of using metal or fiberglass laminates found in the M-Free and M-Pro range the M-Tour 99 uses Basalt Fibre technology. This is about 25% lighter than fiberglass but offers adequate reinforcement keeping the ski table when handling high-speed powerful maneuvers.

With a Sintered HD base for a smooth and fast ride and an adaptive sidecut for grip and performance on various terrain, the M-Tour 87 it will provide just as much enjoyment gliding over soft snow or carving on a freshly groomed piste.
