The Black Ice is a minimalist and lightweight alpine backpack that is most at home on day-long tours.
The Black Ice has a large main compartment with a white inner coating for a clear view of its contents. There are several additional spaces and attachment options providing you with plenty of storage for equipment and gear, including the option of attaching skis diagonally, a weatherproof front zippered quick-access pocket to securely stow away smaller objects, and two external daisy chains.
This Exped pack features a water column rating of 10,000 mm to ensure the bag and your belongings stay nice and dry. For optimal comfort, the Black Ice includes an ergonomic padded back system that, when combined with the broad and removable hip belt, provides an evenly balanced distribution of weight spread out across the pack.
