About the Faction Prodigy 1
Mirroring the popular Prodigy 2 shape, the Faction Prodigy 1 skis boast the same user-friendly values as the rest of the Prodigy range: they're confidence-boosting, durable, and above all, super-enjoyable to ride.
Sitting at 88 mm underfoot, the Prodigy 1 skis are the most park and freestyle-focused of the Prodigy lineup. This width is perfect for laps of the park, carving freshly groomed hard-pack, or bringing tricks out of the park and onto the piste.
The Prodigy 1 skis are built to be easy to ride, allowing riders to lay down their creativity on the hill in a relaxed and smooth way. Ample early rise in the tip and tail and a surfy taper zone creates a butter-smooth feel. Riders will be in full control on hard snow thanks to the strong camber mid-section, while the Full Strength Sidewall Construction improves stability and increases grip, so these skis are tailor-made for epic carving.
Traditional park skis often boast full symmetry, which isn't ideal for everyone. The Prodigy 1s, however, cater for those riders who like a more playful freestyle twin that maintains a directional shape. This improves groomer control and gives you a better feel on the mountain and outside the park.
The Prodigy 1 skis are so enjoyable to ride that they're the ski of choice for Faction's elite riders including Olympians Alex Hall and Sarah Hoefflin. If you feel most at home alternating between groomers and the park, these skis could well be for you. Due to their playful nature, they're also a great choice for snow domes or dry slopes.

- Die-Cut PTEX 3000 - This sintered base material is fast and is more porous than other materials so holds wax better
- Anti-Chip Micro-Cap - The topsheet is slightly rolled over the topsheet to protect this area which is otherwise sensitive to damage
