About the Fjallraven Kaipak
The Kaipak is a simple robust trekking pack designed for year-round use from Fjallraven.
Constructed from the highly renowned G1000 HeavyDuty Eco fabric in both recycled polyester and organic cotton. The bespoke fabric provides exceptional durability coupled with the capability of being waxed to improve water resistance.
The carrying system features contoured shoulder straps, with lightweight hip straps. A large main compartment has ample room for trekking equipment and features a snow lock to prevent unwanted entry of debris. A top lid has two pockets and there are fasteners for trekking poles. In addition, there is a zippered pocket at the front for rain gear and the like, plus two side pockets.
Compressions straps on the size of the unit aid in stabilising the pack when not fully loaded, moreover a chest strap includes a whistle for emergencies. A reinforced base made of polyamide aids in durability, while the included rain cover aids in further weather protection.
