About the Fjallraven Kanken Art

Originally created in 1978 to help prevent back problems in Swedish school children, the Kanken Backpack from Fjällräven is the perfect backpack for travel, work, school or simply the everyday.

This special edition Kanken Art backpack features the unique graphics of artist Cecilia Heikkila, and is a part of Fjällräven's Arctic Fox Initiative which funds projects that both help protect nature, and inspire more people to spend time in it.

Designed with durable G-1000 HeavyDuty Eco S fabric, the Kanken Art is excellent at withstanding everyday life, resisting dirt and water with it's Greenland Wax coating. G-1000 HeavyDuty Eco S is also constructed with recycled polyester and organic cotton, meaning this bag is not only rugged and durable, but is kind to the environment too.

Designed with a large zippered opening, the Kanken is easy to pack and unpack, and allows you to quickly find what you're looking for with its convenient design. Two flat pockets on the side, an internal back pocket and an external zipped front pocket allow you to compartmentalise your belongings with ease, keeping your essentials close at hand for when you need them most.

Within the internal back pocket, a removable seat pad provides a comfortable barrier between the contents of your bag and your back, and means a comfortable rest is never far away. Adjustable shoulder straps and a top handle make for an easy grab and go and give the versatility of carrying the Kanken as a bag or as a backpack.
