About the Flow Velvet
The 2018 Flow Velvet women's hybrid camber snowboard is a freestyle, all mountain board that beginners to intermediate riders will enjoy. This board has awesome buttering abilities, feels great in the park and has the stability and control to carve through the mountain with pure dominance.
The EZ-Rock profile is a tweaked out reverse camber that provides lots of stability and improves agility under your bindings. This profile will benefit progressing riders due to it's forgiving feel and ease of turn initiations, creating smooth carves and fast edge turns. Ideal for more advanced riders who are looking for a bit of forgiveness when in the park.
This board uses Kush-Control Plus Tech that contains Urethane in the base, sidewalls and topsheet. The Urethane sidewalls are fused with the wood core to provide more pop and control while maximizing edge hold. Adding Urethane to the topsheet and along the base inserts create more flex and absorbs heavy impacts, smoothing out chatter and capable of adapting to all types of terrain.
Tru-Flex core provides high strength to weight ratio to stay as lightweight as possible, combine that with Biaxial glass design with 7 vertically stitched carbon stringers you get a core that has great response with easy, natural turning capabilities and smooth riding style. Comes with an OptiX extruded base that offers low maintenance with great strength and speed.
Flow knows how important the sidecuts are for riding and can drastically effect the overall performance from riding park to high speed carving, so Flow have been designing their sidecut tech to match the boards profile and riding style. The Velvet uses 3D Dual Transitional Sidecuts, this will feel mellow between the feet and the tips to provide a super smooth, agile ride with tons of grip.

Flows sidecut tech really helps lock in those edges for awesome fun carving, and Kush Control Urethane features will ensure you have a fast, smooth, chatter free ride.
- Kush-Control Plus Base - Consists of 3 unique urethane features in the base, sidewall and topsheet to create the smoothest and strongest board available. Urethane is flexible and highly resistant in cold temps, the dampening properties of urethane provide a smooth ride that is capable of absorbing heavy impacts and chatter.
- EZ-Rock - A hybrid of very subtle reverse camber profile with a convex base between the bindings, and camber under the bindings provide unparalleled stability. This makes pressing easy and improves agility no matter where you place your bindings. Perfect for all-mountain agility and fun.
- Biaxial W/Carbon-7 - BiAxial glass design with 7 strands of vertically stitched carbon stringers creates a smooth yet responsive feel and provides longitudinal pop and torsional freedom for easier turns and a naturally easy riding board.
- 3-DT Sidecut - Mellow between the feet and tips and aggressive radius in the binding areas gives unlimited grip for an overall super smooth, agile ride. Delivers quick turn initiation from edge to edge, but still allows the board to be ultra stable at high speeds.
- Tru-Flex Core - high strength-to-weight ratio utilizing poplar wood, uniquely profiled to give you excellent all-around response in any condition.
