About the G3 Alpinist Grip+

The Alpinist Grip skin from G3 is designed to tackle extreme ascents and icy terrain, made with a specific combination of nylon, mohair, and mixed plush materials to provide maximum grip and traction.

G3's connection system allows you to extend the length of the skin attachment by 16mm, to allow the skin to be used on different length skis. G3's skins are designed to leave some of the ski base at the tail visible, as this improves the glide whilst reducing the weight, the grip comes primarily from the mid of the ski so grip isn't compromised through this construction.

G3 have innovated their connection system on all their skins to be as easy and efficient as possible. At the tip there are self-aligning stainless steel hands, offering a secure and lightweight construction on any ski shape. Then at the tail, the low profile bomber connection is durable and easy to adjust

This skin is ideal for users who are looking to tackle very steep ascents or touring over icy terrain. The Alpinist Grip is developed to provide maximum grip perfect for an advanced/expert skier looking to take on extreme tours. The high traction nylon plush material is ultra durable and versatile.

New for the 2020/2021 season G3 Alpinist universal skins are now PFC (Perflourocarbon) and PFOA free. The new solution used to keep the skins entirely waterproof embeds itself into the fibers and wraps around every thread in the plush, whilst also being better for the environment and better long term durability.
