The award winning G3 ION 10 is back for 2018, and now even lighter than previous seasons. With DIN range of up to 10, this model is best suited to lighter or less aggressive free-tourers, but is still more than capable of taking big lines on the way down. Weighing 579g it is one of the lightest freeride tech bindings on the market, as well as being one of the most innovative and reliable.

The ION 10 is designed to be used on wider modern skis, for big mountain and freeride skiers alike. The wide freeride mount gives superior transmission of power, as well as improving the torsional rigidity of the binding, so you can trust that you’re not compromising on performance with this super light binding.

As you would expect with such a technical binding, safety is paramount. The heel piece features an Anti-Friction Device (AFD) to ensure a consistent release for all tech insert boots, regardless of sole type. Unique to G3 is their snow-clearing channel that allows you to clear snow from beneath the toe piece with your ski pole, ensuring that your binding is fully engaged before skiing.

The BootStop design has been simplified; building on the already secure and fluid step in process it is now even easier to align your boots. Forward pressure in the heel and favourable toe elasticity produce the maximum absorption of impacts as well as providing a trustworthy release setting. The ease of use and thought that has gone into this product is apparent by the QuickFlick heel lifts that are simple to grab with your pole or hand and rotate either way, unlike other bindings, for pure innovative simplicity.
