The 2020 Gentemstick Hornet snowboard is the ultimate super short board: the magic board for those who like quick and responsive performance. This board has been designed based on Mads Jonsson's Flyfisk pro model snowboard and the Rocket Fish's bottom line. It combines classic features like the Pointy Nose and the Diamond Tail with Gentemstick's original Acceleration Camber system meaning the Hornet can both float and carve with ease.

Gentemstick boards originated in the powder-heavy lands of Niseko, Japan are the brain-child of legendary snowboarder and a surfer Taro Tamai. The board shapes often take heavy inspiration from the retro snowboards of the 80's along with modern surfboards, offering riders a floaty, surfy ride that feels like nothing you have experienced before. These uniquely designed snowboards boast true ingenuity and legendary craftsmanship.

The wide nose width provides the float whilst the short length ensures super-swift moves. The bamboo-core promises a strong snap-back and the shallow swallowtail a distinct manoeuvrability. The super-short and super-fat outline assures an extraordinary carving ability and an incredible sense of speed.

The Hornet uses Gentemstick's Acceleration Camber, which features flat from the widest point of the nose to the front foot, before going into positive camber in the middle to the tail. Incredibly, applying weight to the board pushes the camber arc down and subsequently lifts the nose. This gives the board next-level float and pin-point control, even in the deepest of snow.
