About the Gibbon Jib Line

The Jib Line is a step up from the Gibbon Classic Line for individuals who are seasoned tricksters or those who wish to progress in the tricklining arena. It features a 2 inch (5cm) wide webbing which will enable aspiring trickliners to have very decent footing and is therefore the ideal size for learning and landing flips, performing static poses and most aerial tricks you are bold enough to try. The line itself has a stiff feel combined with a responsive rebound action for gaining height on jumps and a decent amount of stretch for a soft landing. On top of that, the printed writing on the line is rubberised for increased traction, perfect for dynamic moves.

Setting the line up is super intuitive thanks to Gibbon's revolutionary 2 part process. See the videos for a very comprehensive walk through by slacklining legend Andy Lewis. Essentially the line comes with two ends that are girth hitched onto two anchor points (trees, lamp posts, boulders) and one ratchet combines the two sides together, tension is set by ratcheting to your hearts desire.

Gibbon Slacklines now come with their versatile new Treewear protection system. These tough, versatile felt sheets are lined with Velcro and are simply designed to wrap around tree trunks, in order to protect both the tree and the slackline webbing from wear and tear. Theyre easy to use and can be joined together for when you need a longer length.
