The Article from Giro is a great addition to their snowboard/ski goggles lineup offering a sleek design with high-end optics and tech for on-the-go riding. Giro has even gone out of its way to offer true customization to fully express your individuality with other Adapt Straps in the Giros strap range.
The Article goggles include premium Zeiss Optics and the Toric VIVID lens. Developed by Giro in partnership with Zeiss Optics to vastly improve the visual experience on snow by enhancing overall contrast and definition for unprecedented clarity. Conventional goggle lenses will try to eliminate blue light which was believed to be bad light when riding.
However Snow isn't white and is in fact blue from sky reflection, Giro researchers have proven that blue light is fundamental in processing the terrain of the snow. VIVID Lens tech manipulates blue light by enhancing the contrast of the blue light while blocking harmful UV light, essentially filtering out the haze for a crisper vision so you can focus and spot your lines on the slopes. This will help to reduce eye strain known on conventional goggles so you can ride much longer without fatiguing your eyes!
The frame of the goggle features EVAK full ventilation for improved moisture management and vent foam durability. With EVAK venting and anti-fog coating, you can be at ease with crystal-clear vision when things get heated on the mountain. The inside of the frame has triple layer face foam with a micro-fleece backing, this is breathable and keeps out the wind and cold air.
The Article goggles feature Giro's Slash Seal lens interchange tech, and the new lens interchange system offers an intuitive and easy interface for replacing lenses quickly. Simply press the frame and lens together along the seam and boom it's sealed.
With Adapt Strap tech you can take your goggle customization further. This strap features a seamless in-frame attachment so you can quickly change to other Adapt Strap colorways to fully express your personality.
