The Giro Emerge MIPS snowboard/ski helmet takes another step forward in protection and style. This helmet is packed with the most sophisticated tech providing the same protection used by top World Cup alpine skiers. With a low profile freestyle design, combined with the new MIPS Spherical tech makes it the go to helmet for Giro's world class riding team.

This helmet features MIPS, Multi Directional Impact Protection System. This sophisticated design uses a second layer of liner. The two layers move independently to redirect energy from impacts. This system helps protect the brain from rotational energy.

Giro have added a Strap Channel in the interior of the liner to make it much easier for riders to run their goggle straps under the helmet, this popular new-school style option in now functional and wont disrupt comfort.

For cooling the helmet is fitted with Super Cool Vents and Stack Ventilation, vents at the front of the helmet is aligned with the top of the goggles to allow warm, and potentially damp air that comes from the goggle to quickly escape from the helmet, while top air vents keeps you dry and comfortable.

The Emerge also features polartec power grid padding, using two different knits, the padding helps wick moisture away efficiently and allows it evopate quickly. The padding is also coated in a silver salt to help reduce the growth of bacteria.
