The Alpine Ring from Grivel is an innovative solution for a carabiner-free Prussik slings. Constructed with aramid rope and a metal forged toggle, the Alpine Ring is super light ring made with 10mm dyneema sling.
Made with Dyneema on the inside and polyester on the outside, this unique webbing ring comes in 3 different sizes and colour coding (60cm-black, 120cm-red, 180cm-blue). The Dyneema has exceptional resistance, comparable to that of steel cables, but has the advantage of resisting very well to torsion and bending stresses.
Dyneema fibre is practically free of elasticity, making it ideal for climbing and mountaineering where lightness and versatility play a vital part!
