About the Jones Flagship
The men's Jones Flagship Snowboard represents the pinnacle of freeride performance. Jeremy Jones spent the last 20 years designing this shape and the result is a super high-end, ultra-stable fall-line charger. Featuring a directional rocker profile + Traction Tech 3.0 for unmatched edge grip on hard snow and a 3D Contour Base 3.0, the Flagship is ready and waiting for an epic pow day!
The tapered shape sinks the tail in pow for better float and quicker turns, while the FSC Power Core, FSC Engineered Veneer Topsheet and Flax/Basalt Power Stringers add torsional response and reduce board chatter in rough snow. For improved sustainability, the Flagship is now built with Bio Resin instead of standard petroleum-based epoxy.
Aesthetically, the Flagship is crafted with style and passion (as is true with all of the Jones lines). The Traction Tech 3.0 Magnatraction edges and a super smooth, progressive sidecut, mean the Flagship delivers incredible performance and unmatched edge hold in the most challenging conditions.
Under the hood, the Flagship continues to deliver top-end construction and cutting-edge design features. The FSC Power Core is an ultra-premium, triple-density, full wood core that features bamboo stringers for added pop and reduced weight, as well as adding a ton of durability to this snowboard.
The sintered 9900 base is a lightning-fast compound that will glide effortlessly over any terrain and hold more wax than nearly all other bases on the market. This freeride snowboard also features Wend Natural Wax and Triaxial fibreglass layup to create extra response and precision when ridden on varying snow conditions.
The spoon-shaped 3D Contour Base 3.0 has been designed to smooth out your edge-to-edge transfers, making your turn initially feel more like that of a smooth surfboard. This tech is specifically designed for freeriding, improving your board in three main areas: Glide, Flow and Float - helping you ride even faster in the deep pow!
Looking at the camber profile, the Flagship has been equipped with camber underfoot, with a small rocker zone in the tail and a larger rocker zone in the nose. This means the Flagship will be predictable in difficult terrain and have unbelievable performance when cruising on-piste, but will promote a ton of float in the nose to keep you from sinking in the deepest of powder.

Please Note: You will be provided with a randomly selected base design, chosen from the two designs shown in the initial image.
- Blunt Nose - Reduces swing weight to improve turning and rotations whilst reducing drag in deep snow
- 3D Base Contour 3.0 - Freeride focused 3D Contour Base featuring a 7mm of spoon bevel in the nose and 0 to 7mm of spoon bevel in the tail. Spoon bevel starts at the rocker point
- Progressive Sidecut - At the far ends of the sidecut, the radius is incrementally increased as the edge reaches the contact point. Gradually increasing the sidecut radius towards the contact point delivers smoother turn initiation and exit as the edge tracks in and out of the snow with a less abrupt transition
- Traction Tech 3.0 - Improves your edge grip by adding multiple contact points along the running length of your board. Features three bumps per edge (front binding, board center, back binding). The middle bump is slightly bigger than the outside bumps for better grip
- FSC Power Core - Triple-density full wood core featuring hardwood bamboo stringers for added pop and durability plus paulownia for weight savings
- FSC Engineered Veneer - New composite wood veneer topsheets made from 100% FSC certified wood. Wood veneer topsheets dampen ride and absorb board chatter
- Triax Fibreglass - Multi-axis, stitched fiberglass laminate that offers a precise and responsive ride in any terrain or snow conditions
- Sustainable Flax/Basalt Stringers - Jones exclusive sustainable stringer made with 100% natural fibres. Composite Flax and Basalt stringer helps transfer power to the edges, improves torsional response and absorbs board chatter
- Oversized Recycled Edges - All Jones boards are made with oversized recycled steel edges for added durability and improved production sustainability
- Recycled Black ABS Sidewalls - ABS Plastic is one of the necessary evils of snowboard production. Jones improve the sustainability of their snowboards by using only recycled plastic
- Float Pack Inserts - Allows super setback stance for deep pow days
- Sintered 9900 Base - Made from Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE) and Carbon. This ultra-fast base is easy to repair thanks to the UHMW-PE
- Wend Natural Wax - Jones boards are ready to shred straight out of the shop and are factory waxed with WEND natural wax
- Bio Resin - All Jones boards are now built with bio-based, renewable epoxy instead of petroleum based epoxy
- Factory Tuned - All Jones Snowboards are factory de-tuned at the tip and tail so you can go right from the shop to the mountains
- Flip Flop Base - Producing two or more base colour options minimizes p-tex waste. Order may be filled with either colour. Colour does not vary by size
- V-core - An exclusive wood core profiling that offers a stable and playful board feel. The wood core is softer between the feet for easy turn initiation and stiffer in the nose and tail for stability riding through uneven terrain and landing airs
- Forever Flex - A manufacturing process that gives the board a more accurate specified flex and rocker profile that will change less as you ride it more.
