The La Sportiva Bushido II is more evolved, both technically and aesthetically, than it's predeseccor Bushido. Still super-lightweight wit a snug, stable fit, the more aggressive Bushido II has new and improved features for increased stability, comfort and durability. These are perfect for trail runners looking to push themselves across longer distances or more difficult, uneven terrains.
The FriXion XT Ultra grippy sole is optimum for providing traction on slippery surfaces, and the deep triangular shaped lugs give extra grip on mud and scree. Additionally, the lugs are designed to remain in continuous contact with the ground as you run, which translates into extra stability over more technical terrain.
The upper is made from AirMesh with thermoplastic film reinforcements and ripstop inserts which are bound together with an attractive TPU medial skeleton which ultimately binds the shoe and helps to make it incredibly stable. The upper is also highly breathable and abrasion-resistant, expelling sweat and moisture. The Bushido 2 running shoe has an internal slip-on construction, wrapping around the foot like a sock without compressing it or exerting pressure points. For cushioning and support, the Bushido has a compressed EVA midsole that works with the 4mm Ortholite Mountain Running insole to absorb impacts and give you stability without sacrificing comfort. An improved heel shape gives you better comfort and fit than previous designs. The shoe looks sleeker, more streamlined and will spur you on in any terrain.
