About the La Sportiva Kubo

The Kubo from La Sportiva is the all-new all-round shoe for indoor leading in comfort, the lightweight, soft and slightly asymmetrical design has been paired with a technical toe and integrated toe cap, for a nice balance between comfort and performance.

The wide last and soft unlined microfiber upper and suede calf insole construction fit around the foot for all-day comfort, with dual velcro straps that pull the shoe snug and eliminate hotspots without the need for time-consuming laces. The soft 3/4 midsole conforms to large and awkward volumes for maximum rubber contact on holds for support on long technical routes while the increased sensitivity lets you find that microscopic nubbin on the crux. The La Sportiva Kubo has been finished off with a 4mm Vibram XS Edge rubber that balances excellent friction and resistance to wear, both when smearing and on the smallest of edges.

Overall the Kubo is a great shoe for indoor leading and bouldering with its versatile design that does the hard work for you. It is comfortable enough for all-day use whilst being technical enough for indoor projects.
