About the La Sportiva Trango Tower GTX

The Trango Tower GTX Women's Walking Boot from La Sportiva is a versatile, minimal-weight and comfortable crampon-compatible boot, ideal for weight-conscious mountain hikers and trekkers.

The upper is made from highly abrasion-resistant nylon, and features Honey Comb Guard reinforcement for extra protection in areas that are most vulnerable to scrapes and scratches. The seams on the upper are minimised for reduced weight.

These boots are lined with Gore-Tex Performance Comfort Lining so regardless of the weather, your feet will remain dry. Moreover, a generously broad rand runs around the outside of the boot and over-the-toe box to provide protection of both the upper and your foot.

The Trango Tower GTX features the ‘Cube’ sole which has been designed in collaboration with world renowned manufacturer Vibram. The heel is laced with Impact Brake System lugs to provide traction on a multitude of terrains. The Cube sole additionally features a broad climbing zone to enable dexterity whilst perching on rock lips.

For crampon compatibility, the Trango Tower GTX includes a heel lip suitable for all C2 crampons.
3D Flex is incorporated into the ankle, this hinge system allows for multidirectional ankle flex so you feel unrestricted whilst hiking, while friction lace eyelets hold the heel securely for crampon use.

The Women's Trango Tower GTX is for those who enjoy mountain hiking, via ferrata and backpacking. With it’s stiff Vibram Cube sole and high cut design, this boot aims to provide maximum foot support, while the Gore Tex lining keeps your feet dry while allowing them to breath.
