About the Lowepro Photo Active BP AW

The Photo Active from Lowepro takes a conventional hiking backpack and adapts it with their unique QuickShelf divider to be a highly capable photographer's backpack.

QuickShelf is undoubtedly the unique selling point of PhotoActive's Design. The divider system opens to form a customisable 3 tier shelving unit that can accommodate a range of DSLR and mirrorless camera units. The tiered unit coupled with Photo Active's side access pannels allows photographers to create bespoke equipment access from either side. If so desired the entire QuickShelf system can be removed to maximise pack space and folds flat for ease of storage.

For the creatives on the go, Photo Active uses CradleFit to accommodate, carry and protect up to a 15" laptop. This ensures that your creative workflow isn't halted when in transit. For those who tend to travel more and create less, when not carrying a laptop the sleeve can accommodate a hydration bladder in it's place, keeping you hydrated on the go.

ActivZone fit is used on the back system of Photo Active. Ergonomic and Ventilated, two foam channels support the back across the scapular pads and sides. This allows for optimal flow of airflow across the spine and back keeping you cooler and more comfortable for longer.

As a traditional hiking pack in addition to photographers carry case, PhotoActive features your essential hiking accessories. Trekking pole/ice axe gear loops allow you to carry technical trekking equipment. Two large mesh side pockets facilitate the carry of waterbottles, maps, tripods. While an all-weather rain cover keeps the contents safe and protected should the heavens open.
