This is the updated Mammut Alugator Light shovel - a lightweight, compact snow shovel crafted for efficient backcountry search and rescue. An oval-shaped shaft absorbs torsional forces and offers good grip allowing you to move snow efficiently in an emergency situation.
The quick assembly design features an extendable shaft for greater leverage when digging for long periods of time and thanks to its clever design and use of high-grade anodised aluminium it is incredibly lightweight for its size weighing just 460 grams.
