About the Mammut Barryvox S Package
This set contains essential avalanche safety equipment for any trip into the backcountry.
In this Package deal you will get:
1 x Mammut Barryvox S - cutting edge avalanche transceiver with all the essential elements needed to keep you safe during backcountry travel. The digital/analog 3-antenna design features a simple to use interface for navigation with a large receiving bandwidth and an effective search strip width of 70 meters (in digital mode - 100m in analog). A clear display with background lighting relays vital information to the searcher, showing distance, direction and number of buried subjects. This makes the device incredibly user friendly and guarantees fast and precise locating in an emergency situation.
A Rescue SEND function works to protect non-searching rescuers. In the event of a secondary avalanche, the Barryvox S automatically switches to SEND in order to locate buried rescuers. The Barryvox® S is also equipped with a Smart Search function, which interacts with the actions of searching rescuers.
The easy-to-read display is functional in low light with buttons designed to be operated even when wearing gloves. A shock-proof and break-proof housing protects against the challenges of backcountry travel.
