About the Mammut Crag HMS
A classic HMS carabiner from Mammut featuring a screwgate mechanism and keylock nose.
The keylock interface ensures a smooth gate to nose interface, the lack of a hooked nose in the design ensures less rope and equipment. As a HMS carabiner the carabiner is wide enough to take two turns of the rope, enabling it to be utilised in combination with a Munter Hitch for descending.
