About the Mammut Trion Nordwand
The Trion Nordwand 20 Climbing Backpack from Mammut is the definition of a climbing bag. It comes with some great features that are all designed to make your time climbing as hassle-free and enjoyable as possible.
An anatomically shaped carrying system called MAMMUT® High Reach Technology™ makes it easier to perform at your best as you climb. This includes a Motion T-frame to help distribute weight evenly across the whole back. Built in a "Remove & Climb" construction, you can easily remove the T-frame when your climbing route demands it.
The Nordwand is built with 100D Nylon fabric with Dyneema® Ripstop, 15 times tougher than steel, to produce an extremely robust bag that can withstand even the most extreme loads. Dyneema® also helps prevent the risk of your pack getting caught up. The back panel and shoulder straps are anatomically shaped and padded for a comfortable fit, whilst super-lightweight and highly breathable 3D EVA foam provides great ventilation for those warmer climbs.
Other features that really make this bag stand out as an excellent rock climbing backpack is the attachment flap to hold your ropes, two strong ice axe holders, and a waterproof external zipper pocket.
