About the Never Summer Ripsaw
The 2016 Never Summer Ripsaw has been designed in a similar way to the hugely popular, Never Summer Proto HD. The Ripsaw uses similar technologies as the Proto HD but it has one key difference, the Ripsaw uses double the amount of camber in the nose and tail to create a more energetic and lively ride. This allows you to ollie higher, boost bigger and get grip on tricky, icy terrain than ever before!
The Ripsaw excels as an all mountain board, this is partly due to the versatile camber/rocker combination, however the layup of the board is packed with technology designed to maintain torsional strength and filter out vibrations which would otherwise reduce control. At the heart of the board is a Superlight wood core, this core is reinforced by precision engineered fibreglass and a technical dampening system. Finally the Ripsaw board runs on a super fast sintered base made by the industry leaders in base technology, Durasurf.
