About the Nidecker Lunar Focus Boa
The Nidecker Lunar women's snowboard boots is a light but durable, easy-to-adjust, stylish mid-stiff boot for intermediate to advanced female riders who love challenging the mountain. From a comfort and ergonomic fit standpoint, it’s a no-holds-barred affair utilising Nideckers top tech to provide the response needed to tackle anything on the mountain.
The Lunar features a Boa closure system to provide lightning fast entry and exit. Simply turn the dial to your desired tightness and pop out to release. This superb system is twinned with a heel-lock quick fit system that helps increase power transmission and response, keeping your heel locked down and foot in place for quicker power transfer from boot to board.
The Dual Zone Boa Sequence system features the new H4 high power Boa Coiler over the tongue and a mid power dial on the side, the new lacing path achieves an even closer fit and much faster than traditional lacing boa paths when dialing in.
To improve all day comfort, Nidecker have redesigned the boot to feature industry leading asymmetric boa lacing, guiding the laces over the flatter areas of your foot for significantly reduced pressure and improved closure. This improves arch support and reduces fatigue for maximum performance on the mountain.
The Silver-Level Thermo Heat Moldable liner is packed with amazing tech that provides superior comfort and performance while being extremely light. Built with a combination of standard and thermo foam, molding to the shape of your foot for a customised fit. This liner uses Integrated Lacing in the liner to lock in your feet for extra comfort and support. The list goes on and is further explained in the Features Included section!
The Lunar uses the B.F.T (Bare Foot Technology) Vibram Ascent Outsole. This piece of tech is extremely lightweight with incredible traction and grip in all conditions. An EVA midsole and an N-Gel pad is placed in the heel to provide the best comfort and support, conforming to your movements, dampening heavy impacts and chatter in rough conditions. This will give you the best connection to your board enabling you to ride harder for longer comfortably.
For extra protection against the elements the Space Blanket insulation is a thermal insulating barrier between the outsole and the liner keeping heat inside and the cold conditions out while the Silvadur antimicrobial finish in the lining will keep your boots smelling fresh all day long!
