About the Nordisk Halland 2 PU
The Nordisk Halland 2 PU is a roomy backpacking shelter with an easy-to-pitch tunnel design and a large vestibule for practical comfort.
The Halland 2 PU pitches outer-first, with a simple two-pole construction that's colour-coded for quick identification. The flysheet can be pitched as a standalone for warm-weather trekking or minimalist camping trips. The tunnel construction delivers a high level of wind stability making this a great tent for changing weather conditions.
A wide front entrance opens onto a spacious porch area for gear storage and meal prep. The wide door means you can shelter in poor weather and still enjoy the view. A large inner cabin is easy to attach and features pockets for keeping smaller essentials close to hand. The Halland 2 features a protected vent at each end for airflow and moisture management in warm weather.
A durable 68D ripstop fly features waterproof PU coating to 3000mm, with a tough 150D Oxford polyester floor delivering 8000mm water resistance.
The Halland 2 has undergone Nordisk’s own wind tunnel test for verification of tent stability and is capable of withstanding winds up to 25 m/s.
