About the OMM Sonic

The Sonic series from OMM is an ultralight range of windproof shells with the men's jacket only weight in at 54g. The achieve such a low weight the Sonic jacket uses PointZero fabric and has a DWR (Durable Water Repellancy treatment) to help protect you against the elements. The PointZero fabric is also extremely packable, the whole jacket can fold up into its collar making it ideal for storing away when you're out on a run.

At the top of the jacket, there is a high collar to help protect the neck from the wind, then on the shoulders, the Sonic only uses a single piece of fabric to reduce rubbing and to help to minimize weight. The back of the jacket has a nice long drop tail with reflective detailing to help prevent any rise when wearing a rucksack. On the sleeves, there is also the option of using thumb loops to give further protection across the back of the hand.

The Sonic is the true king of the superlightweight running windproof jacket.
