About the Oakley MOD 3 MIPS

The Oakley MOD 3 Ski/Snowboard Helmet is a stripped-down version of Oakley's MOD 5 and is a functional helmet for day-long comfort. New to the helmet market, Oakley has invested time into constructing helmets with exceptional fit and performance, twinned with their successful goggle range.

Oakley has included features to ensure the wearer can customize the fit and ventilation. The integration of adjustable venting allows the wearer to control heat management and ventilation. Then, through a 360-degree BOA system at the rear, a fully customizable fit is possible; the helmet can be tightened around the head for an individual and comfortable fit, ensuring central alignment for performance. A Fidlock buckle on the chin strap means that the helmet can be easily clipped in or undone with one hand, even when wearing gloves.

Oakley's Modular Brim System is a fully integrated goggle/helmet system. The aligned brim vents aid cooling, allowing heat to escape from the goggles. This, in turn, reduces fogging, improving the clarity of vision with additional exhaust ports/adjustable vents at the back of the helmet.

Featuring an In-Mould construction, the MOD 3 effectively reduces weight and enhances comfort. Ensuring breathability and freshness, the liner is removable, washable, and can be replaced with a beanie. Comfort is reinforced through Oakley's No-Pressure ear cups which eradicate discomfort to the ears. The X-Statix Fabric featured in the ear cups and headliner is designed to eliminate odour and bacteria.

Equipped with innovative MIPS technology, the helmet reduces the rotational forces exerted on the brain during a collision and offers superior protection to prevent injury from angled impacts. Oakley's MOD 3 MIPS has been meticulously constructed to offer unparalleled goggle integration and features a more lifestyle styling than the tech-filled MOD 5.
