To keep up with the demands of such active pursuits, the Ortovox Guardian Shell boasts specs of 20k waterproofing and 20k breathability. Most notably, it is lined entirely with merino wool inside which not only provides comfort to the wearer, but is also naturally odour-neutralizing, moisture-wicking, and temperature-regulating. The combination of the Merino inner and outer layer and Dermizax EV Fabric produces a system that will move moisture out, avoiding a build-up of sweat on the inside. To help this system along, underarm vents are available for dumping heat when the intensity increases.
