Excellent
Does exactly what is states, got a reasonably heavy camera and has felt sturdy on all my walks. Can be abit weird having a camera on your rucksack but get used to it quick.

Arguably the best camera accessory on the market. The V3 capture clip is an update of the previously designed V2 which to some degree was rather bulky. With the new updates of a slimmer profile, contoured edges and an all-black colourway, the new V3 is something out of Batman's gadget arsenal. Additionally, Peak has improved the catch system of the plate making it feel more secure - worthwhile when suspending your life savings on a metal plate. The V3 allows you to carry your camera on the shoulder straps of a backpack. This is ideal for backpackers, climbers and hikers, allowing you to keep your camera on hand. It means the camera is always within reach and can be stowed at a moments notice. What is worth noting is that the new plate on some models of the camera is not compatible with the older V2 Capture, only a problem should you have upgraded and are still using the older model. As a climber, I run mine with a camera cage as when scrambling. This means the camera quite often does get pressed upon the rock when using Capture, the cage I find is the best means at mitigating against damage when using the clip in a climbing environment. For future purchasers, I carry my Sony A7Rii with a 24-75mm on a Smallrig cage or 3LT L bracket, and the weight has yet to prove an issue on the clip. Overall Capture has revolutionised the way I capture images in the outdoors, as a backer of the old V2 I didn't think Peak could have surpassed themselves. I can happily confirm they have.
