About the Petzl Gully Ultra-Light
The Gully Ice Axe from Petzl gives you a highly engineered and lightweight ice tool with a compact design (45cm) designed for fast and light backcountry ski and snowboard tours and technical ascents. Great for challenging terrain, from negotiating gullies and couloirs through steep traverses and self arrest situations.
The aluminium shaft keeps the pack weight low while the curved shape and tapered steel pick delivers efficient penetration and hold on hard ice routes. A milled grip in the shaft offers grip while the handrest is adjustable without the need of tools.
The Petzl Gully delivers a versatile ice axe, blending a classic Piolet with a modern technical ice tool for steep skiing and technical mountaineering.
