FUSEFRAME Technology
This technology takes the concepts of doubled webbing for weight distribution, no crossing seams, and wider waistbelt over the hips further for even more comfort and a lighter weight. The interior webbing on the strength elements and on the waistbelt and leg loops are integrated into the thin foam to avoid hard points along joints, making your climb more comfortable. Even more, fused with the foam of the waistbelt is a thin piece of fabric for better weight bearing. All of these features add up to create a clean exterior and smooth harness without adding thickness, in order to offer better resistance to abrasion. A clean, quality design that is light and comfortable.

The Hirundos harness is optimised for lighter weight and more comfort, with the clean design of the FUSEFRAME Technology construction, which offers exceptional weight distribution and minimises pressure points. A thermos-formed foam permits incorporation of strength elements into the layer of foam which avoids having pressure points on the yokes, and the fabric is fused with the foam for better weight-bearing over the whole harness. The waistbelt is thin foam thus compact and lightweight, and due to no crossing seams there are no compression points or friction zones which makes for a really comfortable waistbelt. Walking and climbing become more comfortable due to very flexible leg loop attachment bridges, while fitted elastic leg loops give complete freedom of movement.

The Hirundos harness is easily adjustable with a forged aluminium DoubleBack HD buckle which has a slim, rounded design, and this provides good grip and handling, and don’t need to be threaded back making the on and off process easy peasy.

The fully equipped Hirundos harness features reinforced tie-in points in high-modulus polyethylene for improved resistance to wear from rope friction. Also featured are two rigid high-capacity front equipment loops for quick and easy access, as well as two supple, rear equipment loops which can lie flat, which avoids creating pressure points when wearing a pack. Alongside these, two integrated CARITOOL tool holder slots and a rear loop for haul rope allow you to have everything you need to hand while climbing, and two rear elastics on detachable buckles avoid crossing leg loops when wearing the harness.

The Hirundos harness is eco-designed, which means it has been designed with environmental factors in mind, and this includes being made with textiles that meet the strictest environmental standards such as optimising resource productivity and of reducing air emissions and water pollution, which means you can breathe easy while climbing in this harness as it’s environmentally conscientious.
