About the Petzl IRVIS
Lightweight, compact, and durable, weighing only 766 grams, IRVIS crampons are designed for glacier travel, classic mountaineering, and ski touring. The 10-point configuration provides stability for walking on hard snow and digging into ice. They’re available in two different binding systems to adapt to different boot types, with or without toe and heel welts. The Leverlock Universel for boots with heel welts and Flexlock for boots without toe and heel welts. Additionally, the Anti-Snow system helps limit the build-up of snow in a variety of snow conditions, whilst two wide from points provide solid purchase in snow. Made from steel, the 10-point configuration maximises stability on hard snow and traction on ice.
