A handy accompanying MyPetzl app is available to download giving you control of your NAO+ from your tablet or smart phone. Athletes can customise beam pattern, burn time, brightness and monitor battery levels from their fingertips. The NAO + comes with a multi-activity lighting profile and specific ones for trail running, mountaineering, trekking or backpacking can be downloaded. Alternatively, you can create your own.

The NAO + headlamp lets you choose between CONSTANT or REACTIVE LIGHTING. For reactive lighting, a sensor measures the ambient light and automatically adjusts the brightness accordingly. This keeps handling to a minimum and provides a longer burn time and optimises battery life. CONSTANT LIGHTING mode ensures - as the name implies - a constant and consistent light source.

A wide beam option is available for proximity lighting, with a focussed beam for long-range and targeted vision. An ergonomic button is easy to use even while wearing gloves, while a lock function helps avoid accidental switch on during transit or storage. A red indicator light on the battery is visible for 1km, which adds safety and peace of mind for a more fun adventure.

Other features include a USB-rechargeable 3100 mAh Lithium-Ion battery that will keep your NAO + headlamp lasting, and a belt kit accessory allows the battery to be moved from the head to the waist. The Petzl patented adjustable headband is super comfortable, and an additional top strap for technical activities guarantees great stability and a steady beam.
