About the Rab Valiance

With certified goose down insulation throughout and Pertex® waterproofing, Rab's Valiance Hiking Parka Jacket is a multi-purpose winter garment that guarantees substantial warmth and weather protection.

The Valiance Parka uses Pertex® Shield waterproofing, engineered to offer maximum protection from the elements and breathability with minimal weight, whilst a YKK® VISLON® AquaGuard® front zip provides enhanced water resistance and is extremely smooth to operate.

A down-synthetic blend consisting of Certified European Goose Down and water-resistant PFC-free Nikwax Hydrophobic insulation keeps you warm, dry and comfortable in the toughest winter conditions. Meanwhile, Stratus™ synthetic insulation in the hood provides the perfect balance of breathability and warmth vs. weight.

The Valiance can be stuffed into a carry sack when not in use, whilst YKK AquaGuard® zip hand pockets provide safe and easy-to-access storage for your essentials or even a place to warm your hands during colder activities.
