About the Ride SuperPig
As the name might suggest, Ride has based The SuperPig on the platform of their legendary Warpig snowboard, but with some all-new additions and improvements that make for one superior snowboard.
It runs the same unique directional twin shape that made the Warpig so incredibly popular, but has been tweaked and upgraded - The SuperPig is much more burly, and energetic and is built to charge all over the mountain.
The aggressive feel of the SuperPig comes from the responsive directional hybrid camber profile. The addition of traditional positive camber between the bindings gives the board a firm flex and a powerful and controlled ride. Outside the contact points, a short tail and a gradual rocker up to the longer nose give excellent stability in all snow conditions and help the board to float and plain through powder. The unique Warpig shape also means that it's got a nice wide waist that also helps it stay afloat when the snow gets deep.
Despite its width, the aggressive camber means that the SuperPig is still super fast from edge to edge. 5 multi-directional carbon stringers running under each foot give this board incredible pop and stability and allow for powerful energy transfer from heel to toe. All this makes for effortless, energetic turn initiation that is just made for carving.
The wide shape eliminates toe and heel drag, so you can really lay the board over onto its edges, for perfect, powerful carves and controlled turns even on rough terrain. Its firm flex and damp, stable feel means that this board will hold an edge through just about anything and really excels in hardpack and firmer conditions.
When you're not carving up the hardpack or slashing through fresh powder lines, the SuperPig will still hold its own in the park. The central stance and minimal taper make it super easy to ride regular or switch and it will handle rails and jibs with ease. While it has a more aggressive feel than a traditional freestyle board, the stiff flex can also give the advantage of firm take-offs and heavy landings.
The urethane Slimewalls are a fantastic feature to absorb impacts and smooth out the chatter on snow or any surface you hit. For the Superpig, the Slimewalls have been upgraded with carbon layers placed at the inserts and contact points to further enhance response, and stability outside the edge and create more pop! Double impact plates, located underfoot beneath the binding areas help improve durability when compressing the board, preventing board breaks needed for park abuse.

- Tapered Shape - Tapered, shorter, wider shape allows for a more manoeuvrable snowboard that can hit the big kickers yet still float in the deep stuff
- Bi-Radial Sidecut - A twin sidecut which allows for the underfoot width of a wide board but with the tip/tail width of a standard size. This design provides improved leverage on landings, grip through turns and stability on flat base
- Performance Core - High strength Aspen is combined with Bamboo and lightweight Paulownia wood to provide the perfect balance of strength and low weight
- Carbon Array 5 Laminates - Widespread carbon stringers placed at binding zone give more response to pressure from any angles, which is then channeled to opposing contact point for maximum board control and better pop for ollies
- Carbon Infused Glass - Carbon fibers are stitched into the glass at 90 degrees to the boards length. This gives extra pop and response, without increasing the board's stiffness
- Cleave Edges - Nearly 50% more steel than traditional edges helping to prevent cracking but can also be detuned to larger radii, this single piece of steel wraps around the entire perimeter of the board to give incredible de-lamination protection
- Carbon Slimewalls - This unique sidewall combines layers of urethane and carbon strategically placed from the back inserts to the contact points in the tail. The carbon pop construction runs on the outside edge of the board, which enhances the rider’s experience, providing better stability and enhanced response.
- Roll-in Construction - Unique 3D structure built around the urethane Slimewall sidewalls. Designed to increase overall board strength, prevent topsheet chipping, and reduce weight
- Double Impact Plates - Added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most
