The versatile Green Cone PRS tipi tent forms part of Robens new Navigator range of retro-designed shelters suitable for any number of outdoor activities from group trips to family breaks and car camping.
This four-person shelter features a tipi-style design with a telescopic central pole for support and shape. Shorter, integrated corner poles create vertical walling at the base for added floor space. The centre pole is offset making it easier to access the spacious porch and inner. It also lifts the outer from the ground to create a gap to aid airflow and moisture management in warmer climes.
Airflow is directed by rain-protected low-angle vents. This great feature helps keep you cool during warm weather and reduces condensation. The large porch provides ample room for kit storage and the perfect shelter for meal prep.
5000 mm waterproofing in the polyester flysheet is provided by the exclusive HydroTex® HD RS (ripstop). This high-quality fabric uses a long-lasting PU coating on a 75D high-density polyester with taped seams for a completely waterproof barrier. A fire retardant material it is designed to melt rather than burn when in direct contact with flame.
The inner tent utilises a nylon mesh offering breathability to reduce condensation while keeping out insects. The floor uses a tough 210T Oxford polyester taffeta with 10'000 mm of waterproofing to seal out ground moisture. The Green Cone is wind tested to 135km/h with multiple guy-lines to provide stability when pitching in more exposed areas.
Features include gear pockets, luminous zip pulls, and guy-line retainers for external organisation.
The Robens Green Cone gives you a comfort-driven shelter which at only 6kg is light enough to be shared among a group for self-propelled travel across a range of outdoor adventures.
For those seeking an even lighter alternative (3.2kg), the flysheet can be pitched alone for use as a fast and light bivy or sun shelter in good weather.
